a few years i aquired an IMSAI 8080 and various hardware/software/manuals, including several Static Ram boards, a seiral board (with cables), a dual 8" floppy drive, a tape drive, and other test boards and etc.

after tinkering with the ram awhile, i got Kill The Bits running. of course, this is fun, but what else can i really do with this machine? i would like to be able to plug the serial card in and be able to talk to it through hyperterm or other such software, but what would i be able to do with it then, with no rom or built in code? would i have to key in a bootstrap on my own? does anybody have any ideas on how to set up this machine?

Hi
For the disk, you'd need to specify what controller it has. There were
tens of different controllers for these machines.
