I have tried several times to load programs from audio port, what I do is I save my programs on the PC as wav file format using the line in of the sound card and audio reccorder in my PC, it reccords all the tones frequencies, then when I try to load it on the Apple II+ it freezes up or some times shows ERR, I tried different volumes and mic levels, Does any body know how to do this right?, has any body succeded triying this?

Getting the levels right can be tricky. I have a few notes here:
http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/connectionsaudio.html

The output from the PC ought to be at about half way to full volume, I've found. And when you play back the "tape" and listen for yourself, you hear the leader tone for several seconds, followed by the chatter of the data, right? (And at half volume, it'll be SCREAMING, so you might want to turn it down when testing with your ears. ;-) )

Thanks for the reply, Yes I was triying to use ADTpro as well, I've been triying different configurations, at low levels of volume Apple II shows ERR after a while, at half the Volume It just Freezes up, no response for longtime, and at higher Volume it shows Err again. How can I test if is not the Apple II audio circuit the problem?
