They have got to be joking! $6,000 US for an Apple IIe. They say it's one of the First Apple IIe computers which still works - prove it! Even if it was that doesn't automatically make it worth $6,000 US IMO.

I think the ENIAC and UNIVAC predate that a bit :p Plus wasn't there just a plain Apple ][ that predated that one?

Hi
The Poly88 was before the Apple II because they wrote the manuals
for the Apple II on Poly88's. It seems that the Apple II didn't do
lower case.
I do have machines that are earlier than the Apple IIe as I'm sure
most of the rest of you do, including a Apple II.

$6000!!

They are dreaming. My complete and working Apple IIe cost me $US 65 bucks or so last year...and that's in a place (New Zealand) where they are not that common!
