You know, after an exhilarating game of Star Raiders on my Atari 800XL, or a robust game of Parsec on the TI994/A, or even a classic Sargon II game on the C64, I like to sit back and listen to some tunes. :D

For that I decided to mod my 'necessarily evil', modern day PC's CD burner with a nice retro RCA 45 rpm record player. This way I can spin them old 45's, just like it was yesteryear once more.

Well yes, technically speaking, BUT you are apparently measuring across the vinyl 45 which would include the 'hole' which when you take that out of the equation, (after all it is a 'hole'), - then the 7" original 45 will be the same size as the modern day CD. :o

Even Hepcats know that!
