View Full Version : In desperate need of Eisa config (here we go again)

Got me another Eisa mothrboard after I ran out of luck with the Everex board
This time it's an ECS SL 486VE

It has the same SiS chipset as my unknown Eisa board that I use a general SiS chipset Eisa .cfg file on with success but this Everex board insists on wanting a .cfg file named !ecs1110.cfg which is in this long gone archive located here (ECU202.ZIP)

Have googled after this archive without success...maybe I'm a bad googler

I would really appreciate if someone could help me find these files

I've even contacted ECS about these old legacy files...I doubt I'll get a reply though

Nevermind...I managed to sniff out the config file *pew*

Thought this board was a goner too

If you decide to try your everex board again let me know. I have a copy of the EISA Configuration Rev B 5 1/4 disk, and a copy of the Everex Utility Diskette Ver 5.1 August 15, 1991.

I believe the media is still good electronically.

Somebody needs to archive all these EISA config files on the net. I will check to see how much space my free Roadrunner website is (10MB maybe?).

Anyone up for sending EISA files?
