I have a vintage AST Ramvantage RAMV-128 memory card (AST part number 202058-001) but no documentation. The card seems to work but I don't know how to set the DIP switches. I have looked on the net for information but haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi:

Druid6900 thought it might help if I attached some photos of the AST Ramvantage mystery card. So here they are. Again any help in setting the DIP switches and the Jumpers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brett

This is a very interesting card. It looks similar to the AST Rampage286, only it appears to be able to take 3mb DRAM.

I just found this:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.misc/browse_thread/thread/baf8342f70a0ffd8?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=ast+ramvantage+settings#504ec41c2eeda278

It seems that unlike the Rampage286, this card does not support EMS...however it can hold more memory.
