Anyone know if there's a generic cd-rom SCSI driver that's nice and slim?
I'm using a 12x NEC SCSI cd-rom in a 486 PC which has some built in NCR SCSI controller which uses SCSI drivers + cd-rom driver that takes up around 55k conv. memory in total which I think is outrageous
I use Plextor SCSI driver in my other old PC's and Plextor has a nice and sli driver which is only around 10k but i haven't found a counterpart from Nec
