I found this awesome little IBM cd drive that takes three AA batteries and plugs into a pcmcia slot. It's perfect for my older laptops which lack a cd drive and it's faster than my parallel backpack cd drive. The problem however is that I have no drivers for it and googling the thing only gets me pages and pages of resellers and refurbishers and other information I don't need (kinda like when you try to find an IC datasheet).
All I really know about it is that it's the IBM Pratable Drive Bay (P/N: 00N7940, FRU: 37L1513) and it currently has a 24X cd drive installed in it as well as I have the IDE host PCMCIA card (P/N: 00N7942, FRU: 33L5033).
I hear it works under XP but I need the 95/98 and possibly DOS drivers if such things exist.
