Fifty million Wii consoles sold in three years! (This ain't vintage, but it seems appropriate for this forum rather than 'General Off-Topic').

It'll be interesting to see how many still are around 25 years from now. Since they're quite small, most people may put them in storage without losing much space.

That was my exact thought lol. "Guess it's not worth anything as a collector's item".

The Wii sells well, but I don't think it will have the same following the Playstations, Segas, Ataris, etc have with collectors down the road because of the "games".

Besides none of those controllers will probably work making it a doorstop in 20 years.

How many Atari 5200 controllers still work?

How much of what we collect today was the 'Best-Selling of All Time' in their day?

How many Atari 5200 controllers still work? No idea, but my original 2600 joysticks and paddles still work. There was not much to those and the construction of the circuit board was pretty good.
