Is there a vintage group in my neck of the Woods (San Francisco Bay Area)? Or any events that anyone knows of?

Do you have any cards you're willing to trade for an 8-bit VGA Card?

A bit off topic I think :D

No I don't ATM, just starting in this adventure, so I am looking to buy at first.

I am having trouble finding local places to buy these types of things from, but I am still looking.

There is the Vintage Computer Festival which may run this year (usally October/November at the CHM.)

There is a Bay Area Classic Computer Collectors email list (BACCL) that you could join:

BACCL mailing list

There aren't any regular meet-ups that I'm aware of, but then maybe I'm just not invited! ;)

Ya, most the vintage stuff I've found doesn't come from local sources. Weird Stuff in the South Bay may have a few things in their bone bins, but after looking a couple times I concluded it's better to buy something off eBay than spend time looking through boxes and boxes hoping to find something vintage.

Thanks for the info.

I did manage to find this: http://www.crc.org/fundraisers/index.html

Seems like a decent place to go hunting, though I think it will be more contemporary parts. I may go to the Santa Rosa one this Saturday, and there is one in Sunnyvale.
