I have an old ringbinder entitled 'MS-Dos Version 3 Reference Guide' by Compaq. It has a plastic bag attacehed with 2 keys in it. Any suggestions on what I should do with this? Throw it away? Sell it on ebay? Advice appreciated.
Cheers.:-D

Sure. Put it on the auction site here (won't cost you anything unlike feebay). Someone might want it or maybe even make you an offer via PM. Any idea what system it is for/came with?

The Portable 286 had a keylock. IIRC, it shipped with DOS 3.2, at least at first.

Correction: According to the 'Read This First' sheet supplied with the Operations Guide, "To use your COMPAQ PORTABLE 286(tm) Personal Computer, you must first purchase an operating system such as MS(tm)-DOS published by COMPAQ9r0 Computer Corporation..."

Apparently, they didn't bundle the OS with the Portable 286.
