When I acquired my IMSAI 8080 I also picked up a pile of vintage boards. Seeing the mostek manufactured chips on this board I had dismissed it as a run of the mill z80 SBC. On closer inspection, however:

The 3 40 pin dips make up the processor. CPU, SMI and PSU

It appears to be an early version of the MicroPro F8 Kit 1a

Wow, that's a neat find to be buried in the mix. Reminds me of when we were moving a friend and his collection (he had lots of old stuff and a few things regrettably we couldn't move well and had to leave). One small cardboard box a friend (also a collector) was about to toss, right before he was going to throw it he decided to take a quick look. Not sure what Rev but it was basically a new Kim-1. Was one of those moments where we all looked over at the trash pile to give it a few rechecks.
