Anyone know of a good way to back up a DOS HDD?
I have a 2gb drive and would like to mess around with some other os'es on the 486 terminal, but don't wanna loose all the precious work I have accomplished.

There are a ton of hard disk imagers out there. Get an old copy of GHOST--back in the days of your 486, it was shareware.

I'm assuming that you have a disk or tape drive to back the thing up to.

There used to be a very cool board that you could attach in your IDE hard disk cable and it would divert writes to a different area of the hard disk. If you wanted to put your disk back to the way it was, you just moved a jumper and you were back. They sold for about $25 and may still be out there.
