Someone had mentioned that they'd like to hear updates about the VCGM (http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com)auctions, etc. since they don't visit often enough. . .

Well, we've just had our 500th user sign up today. I thought that was a milestone worth mentioning!

Additionally that wonderful Macintosh system (http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com/auction_details.php?name=Mackintosh-Model-M0001-Serial-F4183MM0001-Complete--Pristine&auction_id=105288)discussed last week is a day from ending. The seller has activated the "Make Offer" capability for those who want to give that a shot. . . you never know! :)

Also ending soon is a massive Apple //e package (http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com/auction_details.php?name=Apple-IIe--Alberta&auction_id=104951) in Alberta that could be a really good deal for someone.

I also just posted a nice, clean, working IBM PC System Unit (http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com/auction_details.php?name=IBM-PC-System-Unit&auction_id=105312) that's bound to make someone happy. . .

Plus all of the other good stuff that's always out there.

Shh! You're supposed to keep that Apple II package quiet so I can just go drive down and pick it up for cheap. ;)

Hehe. Sorry! :D

BTW, I also just listed a nearly pristine Sanyo MBC 555 (http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com/auction_details.php?name=Sanyo-MBC-555&auction_id=105317)system in original boxes, etc. that is going to make someone really happy. . .

Incidentally, I sent the Apple //e seller a message asking if local pickup was available - no response, and then the auction ended on me before I could toss in a bid.

I hope he re-lists it. I really want an Apple II!

Always bid while it's up. There is no reason to wait as there is no sniping on the VCGM. . . ;)

I've learned my lesson =(

Hopefully it doesn't cost me an Apple IIe kit!
