Hi,

I've dragged out my old Atari 800XL for some restoration work on the case.

After I'd finished I couldn't help but have a play with APE and my SIO2PC USB interface. It works well, but I'm looking for a utility to supplement the system.

Specifically I'm looking for a Windows XP program which will allow management of Atari 8 bit image files like ATR and XFD. By management I mean deleting, renaming and listing files within the images. APE doesn't seem to have this functionality.

I'm sure you can do this with the Atari 8-bit emulators out there, but I don't really want a whole emulator, just a stand-alone program for manipulting disk images. I've had a Google but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anything out there (preferably freeware)?

I found what I was looking for. A freeware program called ATADIM (http://raster.infos.cz/atari/forpc/atadim.htm). No frills but it does everything I want.
