Has anyone ever heard of this game? :

You were some kind of person/creature that lived in a sort of village where there was a castle owned by an evil guy. The evil guy stole all the toys from the village kids, so you have to go find all the toys in the castle. You go through room to room, but certain rooms are guarded.
You "die" or are caught if you enter a room and the guards catch sight of you (it is possible to quickly leave the room before they see you) - or if the evil guy sees you.

Somehow you don't have a complete map, but you learn to navigate as you go along (which involves mentally keeping track of where you are). You can find different things along the way to help you in your quest. You can use these along the way.

I don't remember much else, but I did beat the game at least once, and got back all the toys to the kids. The game was so fun and it was challenging mentally - I was playing it in 2nd grade.

I was in 2nd grade in 1987-1988.

Please let me know if anyone has ever heard of this game!

Thanks so much. :)
