Greetings,

I looking for a screen shot of a modem program from way-back.

This is dating back to the mid to late eighties when I was heavly
into the Xerox 820-II & Emerald single-board computer systems.

There was a CP/M program I want to say called; Xmodem.com, Xmodem7.com, or Modem7.com.
It was a terminal/modem/dialer program THAT when executed presented the operator with
a full screen of controls/commands. It was basically text letters and lines/dashes etc
BUT literally covered the whole screen.

Here is the header from Modem50.Asm in which I remember possibly
one of those authors may have wrote it. "Irv Hoff"was another author
associated with the "MDM7xx" version of another popular modem program.

Anyway, I've tried some of the programs I've listed above in a emulator and cannot
seem to find that specific program... yet...

I'm wondering if possibly someone here remembers that program and can direct me to it?
Additionally I'm wondering if I have already stumbled on it, BUT it does NOT DISPLAY CORRECTLY
IN A EMULATOR utility?

Thanks,
Respectfully,
STeve Su

Please feel free to post to my email as well.

You may want to look at MEX and IMP (Irv Hoff wrote IMP).

MEX7 is my best guess. I used it daily on my Xerox 820-II and 16/8. It had extensive scripting abilities as well. --Arun Baheti
