View Full Version : Looking for code (public domain)

I've been trying to track down the code for a game called "Lost Dutchman's Gold." The code was published in BYTE magazine (Dec 1980, I think.) Anybody have that issue and be willing to share the code?

Thank you, and sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

I don't have that issue, but if you don't have any luck here, you might try Byte's website:

They have a contact address there, and if you ask, they might send you a copy of the article.

Hi Skeet,

I created a zip file with the code and basica which it was created in. it's uploaded to my server. You can get it here:

double click runme.bat to run it :-) make sure it's the right one and all.

Dual 5 1/4" at school? wow, spared no expense (quoted from that rich dude in Jurassic Park) lol.

at my school we had commodore PETs with 1 dual Floppy that was I think they called Daisy Chained cable going across 27 Systems so they could all access them. (long long ago in a world far far away :-).
