I found an old computer microphone, but I cant test it out because all my old computer stuff is packed away in storage right now. Does anyone know what its for?

The end of the wire has a connection that looks like it would fit in TRS-80 cassette slot.

The DIN connector was originally used for stereo equipment before it was adopted for computers.

I would think a lot of low voltage electric equipment use DIN connectors for various things, from power supply to sensors and more. Of course audio (and some video) equipment and computers are the best known ones.
