MicroSolutions backpack 3.5" parallel floppy convert to 5.25"?

I have a backpack 3.5" floppy still in shrink rap, er, wrap even. Do you think it would be possible to rig a 5.25" floppy to it?

it has a parallel port interface and its own power supply

Yes, someone on this forum did exactly that. I changed mine to use an internal 2.88MB floppy drive and it works!

Update. After 19 years of searching I found a 5.25" floppy drive adaptor for my IBM PS/1. I havn't tried to convert the Backpack yet.
