I'm not sure where that picture is from, but the IBM PC/XT and AT were out in 1985 (along with other HD based machines), both with 5.25" form factor, full height drives.

You could get half-height equivalents from elsewhere. Although the XT was originally 5 and 10 MB, there were 20-40 MB drives in that size at that time - for a price!

So, this display is a bit of an exaggeration. . . ;)

Looks more like 1975 to me.
