Introduced in 1982, the Sony SMC-70 was arguably the first computer to use Sony's new 3.5-inch microfloppy drive.
It features a 4 MHz Z80A CPU, 64 KB RAM, and 3 expansion slots.
It can support up to 4 microfloppy drives (as 2 internal and 2 external drives).
The operating system is CP/M 2.2 with custom extensions for color.
Terminal emulation is very similar to the IBM 3101.
