The Sound Blaster was released at the end of 1989, but there were other, incompatible, add-on options that existed around that time. There was the Covox Speech Thing, the Covox Sound Master and the Tandy 1000 TL/SL/RL/RLX computers. All were capable of processing digital audio without hacks.

Covox Sound Master I (with the AY8930 sound chip)
SimCity & Expansions (also Tandy)
The Punisher
MegaTraveller 1

Tandy TL/SL/RL/RLX (PSSJ)
SimCity & Expansions (also Covox)
Wings of Fury
Gauntlet II (also PC Speaker Tweaked)
Outrun
Metal Mutant (also PC Speaker Tweaked, LPT DAC)

Disney Sound Source (and other Parallel Port DACs)
Arachnophobia
Dick Tracy: The Crime-Solving Adventure
Metal Mutant (also Tandy, PC Speaker Tweaked)

The list came from MobyGames, and these choices are pretty solid. If a game was listed as supporting a Sound Blaster, I did not include it even though it may have supported one of the above. Moby is not known for the height of accuracy, and "Sound Blaster" support in a game may not mean anything more than Adlib compatibility.

For Sierra SCI games, they are not included. Even though Space Quest III was released before any Sound Blaster and included a Tandy TL/SL/RL driver, it still works with the Sound Blaster driver from King's Quest I SCI.

Are there more games out there?
