I recently picked up a IIci for $10 at a thrift store. Opened it up and found this 66mhz Daystar accelerator card inside.
The closest thing I can find is the "Daystar Turbo 601". However pictures i have found of that card look a bit different than what I have.

What do I have here guys? And is it rare and/or valuable?

hi-res pictures are here:

Its a 601-66 PPC CPU upgrade card. Be carefull when you remove and reinstall that heatsink, it is VERY easy to crack the die on that CPU.

Ebay should have them listed so check there for what they sold for.

I knew it was a 66mhz 601 upgrade card, but I'm unsure of the model. That's what I'm looking for.
And yea, I'm being careful with the heatsink. I learned my lesson when I was about 17 and crunched a new Socket A Athlon. :D

That's the DayStar Turbo 601 alright: http://lowendmac.com/daystar/pages/dsd_products/upgrades/601/trb601spec.html. Yours just has a "real" 601, and not a photo-prop.
