Hi All!
I have an Atari PC4. It is an 80286 equipped with the Ami NEAT BIOS. My problem is that some of the BIOS parameters can only be set with a utility called "NEAT.EXE". But I'm missing this utility. Do you know somebody, who can tell me, which CMOS address need to be set from the BIOS dump? During boot, the BIOS displays these parameters, so I think if one can find where the BIOS writes this information to the screen, one can find also where this information comes from. I know that this is not so simple, some BIOSes are compressed, some of them contains self modifying code, but this is my last hope.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Jozsi

There is a utility called neatset.zip that might be useful.
NEATSET.ZIP [0] Chip Tech. Neat Chip Set Setup Program.

From the .doc file;
The "QUICKSET" is a NEAT EXTENDED CMOS setup utility, there are
four topics :
1. SET MEMORY TYPE AND SIZE.
2. SET MEMORY WAIT STATE.
3. SET EMS MEMORY.
4. SET SHADOW MEMORY.

Credit for this link goes to glitch.
