I have a Morrow Micro Decision 2 with two full height floppies. I have, as yet, been unable to determine the manufacture. Both of the drive belts have stretched and lost their flexibility so I need new ones. I tried the only thing I had at hand, a rubber band, but that didn't work. Are there any sources out there? Anyone have any rejuvenation suggestions? Thanks!

A lot of salvage places tend to have floppy drives on hand, even the old full-height beasts.

I know that Weird Stuff Warehouse in Sunnyvale has piles of them, for instance.

That's likely to be your best bet - cannibalize another drive for what you need.

Best of luck!

Try taking the belt or the drive to a vcr repair shop, I got a belt for an atari drive from one and they had a compatible belt that fit great.

Or a turntable specialist. It may be a bit more costly than reusing the belt from another old drive (which may have dried anyway) but there are places even here in Sweden who literally say "bring your old belt from whatever device, and we'll make a quote how much to manufacture a new one that will fit perfectly".
