View Full Version : GIDE replacement project

I am considering making a GIDE replacement board based on the XT-IDE V2. The GIDE is a neat circuit but no one is making them any more and the it has some hard to get components.

The new board would not be backward compatible with the GIDE since there are some significant differences. It would include the optional boot ROM and optional UART though since those have proven to be quite useful.

There is a preliminary schematic already and if you are interested in participating in this project please let me know.

Thanks and have a nice day!

CSEL should be directly to ground (10k PU in the device).
