Was about to do my little vintage search but one of the first things that came up in auction list on ebay was this Atari Lynx "Invades Japan" slideshow auction (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATARI-LYNX-invades-Japan-Slideshow-/320985957527). What the hell is this? lol Is this just some bootleg thing or was there some point behind cartridges like this? The two pictures it shows are just random pictures of well endowed Asian women which I can't understand the purpose (other than the obvious sex sells concept) of what this would be or why it would be released by Atari.

Figured someone more in the loop might know if this is just some picture collection that someone bootlegged or what.

The Tramiels visited Japan often on business, so maybe one of them had a thing for Japanese women. :)

It looks like a homebrew. Probably someone who came up with a picture viewer on the Atari Lynx, and someone designed a cartridge filled with view-worthy images.

Anyway, in my opinion the Japanese video game market has always been rather broad and had at least some room for adult content without hiding it in the shadows, so for a cartridge named "Invades Japan" it seems all right to be about pictures of well endowed women.
