Hello everybody,

I have on my Amstrad CPC a disk format named "IBM Format" and CP/M 2.2 :

- 40 tracks, 8 sectors per track ( named 1 to 8 ), 512 bytes per sector (so 4 CP/M logical sectors of 128 bytes), 160 Kilo Bytes on the disc.

- Directory is on track 1, sectors 1 to 4

- Track 0 is reserved for the system. (what system ? IBM system? CP/M-86 ?)

I know this disc format have been made to exchange program with a IBM computer OS.

Is it the same diskette format on CP/M 86 ? PC-DOS ? MS-DOS ?

If somebody knows a IBM disc format seems the same that I have on my Amstrad CPC, Thank you very much to tell me. :)

I would like to exchange programs on a 5 1/4 diskette IBM PC <--> Amstrad CPC
