Did anyone catch "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" last week? Somebody please tell me why that chick had a Mac SE (I think) on her desk. What the h was she doing with it? Was it supposed to have sat their since the 80s???

Possibly the fault of a low prop budget and/or a computer clueless prop-master.

A computer is a computer is a computer when it doesn't play a major role in a TV production. For that matter, I'm sure there are smaller companies still today using at least 486:s and Macs from the very early 1990's. Either they don't have a need to upgrade, don't think it is worth the money or fear the difficulties in learning a new system. Maybe the "chick" in this episode were one of those who only feels comfortable with the tools she already knows how to use.
