This is the Talent MSX DPC-200 of a friend of mine.
A very nice computer with a Z-80 processor. Sadly, it doesn't work. When I turn it on, it gives a video signal, something like a welcome window appears, then it jumps to the basic interpreter, but the characters that appear on the screen are corrupt, it's all a mess of dot's and random chars. The beep command doesn't work. I've tried everything, I've removed the ROM and the processor and putted them back in place, I've cleaned everything with alcohol. Everything is clean and seems to be physically ok. Still, it doesn't work. The problem seems to be that the ROM is corrupt or something. I don't know what else to do. So, if you guys could help me out with it, I'd really appreciate it. :D

It seems like the ram memories chips were bad. I have the replaces parts, but I am in Argentina. :)
