I was given an AT-class computer that was locally built. The system is a 200 MHz Pentium on an Azza PT-5IHV motherboard with 64 meg of SD-Ram. I replaced the 16 bit soundblaster with a soundblaster live! 5.1 digital, the 16 bit network card with a 32 bit NIC, a separate pata drive controller card, I replaced the 4.3 gig hd with a 160 gig drive. and I'm ordering an AMD Radeon 9250 PCI video card. I also am looking into replacing the Intel Pentium chip with an AMD K6-2 rated at 233 MHz. I replaced the 4.3 gig hd with a 160 gig drive. When everything is ready I'll install MS Neptune.

If the board supports it, why not just go all out with a K6-2 550, take the heat spreader off, and go 700mhz with it?
