I just got my powerseller rating after 100 sales. I didn't think it was that easy but I guess being a POWERSELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! doesn't mean much.

to be a powerseller, I think you need to move $1k (or $3k?) worth of stuff in 3 months

I can always get a paypal printout since that is all I ever used to buy things on ebay. That's just feedback, I am sure I won more then 1000 auctions, and that doesn't include other non ebay purchases.

There might be a dollar amount required, but there is also a requirement for 100 sales in a year, I think. It's really not a lot.

Heh. I just got mine as well. Join date was in Sept '98, however :)

Like you, I'd have more if more sellers left feedback. Ditto on buyers. I've sold a few dozen items on eBay over the years. I might have 6-7 feedback from those.

What's Ebay? A new US lifesaving series staring The Hoff?

I'm approaching 200 feedbacks received from purchases I've made... since the fall of 2006. So, no, I'm not a power buyer. On the other hand, I'd rather think of the money I've spendt for the items I've purchased over the years than the money I've spendt to have them shipped here.

How come nobody gets to be called a "Powerbuyer" - say someone who consistently pays more than the item is worth? Or maybe the sniper who has broken the most hearts of naive bidders?
