I have a custom S-100 bus computer in storage, I remember it only has some boards in a wooden box, no crt, keyboard, or power supply, or disk drive, but as I can now get a new S-100 IDE controller and put a CF card on it, how much space is best? I have read that CP/M MP/M has a max size of 512mb, I was thinking of using a 32mb cf card, but as the computer will be for learning/messing around with mp/m and cp/m, how much space will be needed if I down loaded all MP/M CP/M and games apps ect to the CF card?

You can run MP/M from a 250K 8" floppy. 500K would be generous for the OS+system utilities and languages; whatever you need for the rest is up to you. I wouldn't put more than 8MB toward the whole thing.

This ain't Windows, you know.
