Recently, I've been able to repair my SFD-1001 (huge task btw). Now, I'm trying to feed it from my PC.

Is there a way to write/read the SFD-1001 (or 8250) complex format from DOS/Windows?. I have several useful tools at my disposal: XA1541, Catweasel or Kryoflux...

It works with my 8050 just fine.

Cool, thanks!, looks like a great replacement for my old XA1541. It indeed seems to support the IEEE bus as you pointed out.

So if you're reading & writing 8050 disks using your Windows, it means another device to add to my CBM gear :sigh:

I bought my ZoomFloppy from Jim Brain at the VCF MW. Mine came with both the serial and IEEE jack ports, but you need to specify that you need the IEEE when you order it.

You can tell your sfd-1001 to think it's an 8050, and thus read 8050 disks. THere are a lot more .D80 images out there than .D82.
