Hi all,

I am looking at an opportunity to pick up a working DEC HiNote CT-475 at a reasonable price.

The reason I am hesitating is that there is no documentation with it at all. I've looked online a bit, and I am not coming up with anything there, either.

Does anyone have any pointers to any documentation for this old laptop? Any suggestions? Any cautions? I just don't want to be completely pup the creek if there's a failure lurking in the near future. As well, the CMOS battery needs to be replaced (no surprise), and that would be the first adventure that I would be embarking on if I get it.

Any thoughts you may have would be appreciated.

I have a VP-575 which powered up OK after being off for a long while. Looking here :-

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121287122247

a reasonable price would be fee, might be worth snagging this for spares...

I have some 575 docs but there isn't much in themmm
looking here you don't need drivers...

http://www.deccomputer.info/dec-hinote-ultra-ct475-pcmciairda-drivers-anyone-help-please

but I am sure these things came with enhanced PCMCIA management software...
