It is a full size board, and the curious thing is it looks like it has a processor on the upper left. I can't make any words on the processor.

It is made by CPT CORP ASSY NO 910633
Designed by J.E. Randall

Possibly a compatibility card or special video card?

I noticed references to a dual screen mode - where you could have Hercules graphics on one part, and their system on the other.
The chip in the top left isn't a CPU, it's a graphics processor. http://www.computer.org/csdl/mags/cg/1986/10/mcg1986100049-abs.html

The 82786 combines into a single of supporting today's graphics standards and a powerful display processor that supports windowing in hardware.

Just some information to ponder.

I suspect it's a display board to work with the CPT PT software.

Sounds like I wouldn't have much use for this board then.

I have these two boards as well.

Did you pull these from a specific system or just happen to come across them all? Seems like it would have been interesting to see the full system ;-)

The MCA card (the one with the blue tabs) is the Type 2 Complex (DX2-50mhz) (http://ps-2.kev009.com/ohlandl/complexes/Type2.html#L486DX2-50/25) usable in the 8590/9590/9595 series of PS/2 computers.

You might want to dump the EPROM on the CPT card--it might give you an inkling of how the thing was used.

I have a bunch of loose boards in a couple tubs. I bought a big lot of PC stuff and the tubs were part of it.
