I want to take some videos of two systems running VGA demos with two different monitors. I would like to capture the features that better define the quality of monitors: color, contrast, brightness, definition, etc.

The demo should show text as well as graphics. The computer itself is a 386, running MSDOS 6.21. The VGA inside is a standard VGA without superVgA modes. For the tests I only change monitors, the VGA itself is internal and cannot be changed.

Adding several tests in a row in a batch file is perfectly acceptable. However each test must run automatically, without the need for an operator in front of the system to press keys or select options.

The demo must not be the coolest in the planet for a VGA but if it is i would not mind.:)

So, Which would be your favorite test/demo software to check video on a VGA system? You can vote for your favorite tool for any category, 640x480, 320x200, text mode,...

Checkit does a decent monitor routine. So do several other diagnostic programs.
