Found a Stride Micro 440 this weekend. No keyboard or display with it. I'm assuming it's meant to be used with a terminal of some sort, there are a bunch of RJ-45 jacks on the back (serial ports?). What should I do to get this thing useable and what should I expect from it capability-wise?

Strangely enough I have the same question. I recently bought a 440 system on ebay and it arrived but I cannot use it because of the serial port connectors

I already emailed sage and stride to ask the simple question

what is the pinout of the serial connectors? Does anybody have the details or can send me (at cost) a working cable please?

regards marcus

Are the schematics at http://www.sageandstride.org/html/schematics.html of any use? They seem to show the UARTS on the main and disk controller boards - and at least show the pinouts at the board connectors. I don't know if these schematics refer to your specific machine or not - but you may be able to do a bit of 'digging' from here.

This may explain it--mostly, it vanished in the bowels of an acquisition (http://web.archive.org/web/20150425002459/http://www.sageandstride.org/).
