Hello Guys,

a few weeks ago i wanted to start my Atari Mega STE, but just at the start the monitor broke (explode in it self?)
So I'm searching for a new one, and I saw this:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/BELINEA-1970-G1-48-3-cm-19-TFT-LCD-Monitor-Pivot-Funktion-PC-Atari-TT-/221484212209?pt=DE_Elektronik_Computer_Computer_Mo nitore_Flachbildschirme&hash=item33917cdff1

I could use this Monitor with my Atari VGA -> "Normal" VGA Adapter that i bought today. But now there is the Question, if the
MEGA STE can run that Monitor. Can anyone say that?
If this Monitor dont run with my Atari, i would take the alternative SM 146.

I think all you will get is a "probably". The TT has VGA output so it will work on that monitor. "most" VGA monitors will work on the lead you have but not all. Sadly the only sure way is to try it..

All members of the Atari ST family can use a VGA monitor with a cable adapter, but only in 640x400 monochrome mode. If you want to use the 320x200 and 640x200 color modes (for games), you will need a monitor capable of a 15 kHz horizontal scan rate.

You can get a gadget on the other bay that accept a 15hz signal and convert it to svga to use with modern monitors.
