Hi,

I have a JSW plastic Injection moulding machine (150 ton).
However, its quite old (1991 model).

The machine works aboslutly fine, but the monitor is not working as its damaged.
Thus the connector that connects to that monitor is E8M EIAJ 8 pin connector to display data.

I could not find the monitor anywhere.

Is there any solution to connect that pin and give a display to any other monitor or lcd.
or does it have any converter to vga or something to display data on modern tv/monitor/lcd.

please help and guide as my work has stopped.

I would be grateful.

thanks

The last monitor that I owned with a E8M EIAJ connector was a plain old CGA-type monitor--during the 70s-80s, this connector was used quite a bit. If that was the case with yours, you can probably connect up a CGA monitor or a CGA-VGA converter to handle things.

There are monitor repair folks for the CNC market. One such is http://www.monitorexperts.com/ in Anaheim--not cheap, but they do good work (you didn't mention your location).
