The Rhode Island Computer Museum has a TI 990/10, 990/12, and a 1500. The systems, spare boards, software, and documentation have not been fully inventoried and the systems have not been powered up in many years. If you are a TI enthusiast you would be welcome to visit the museum's warehouse document these systems.

I wouldn't exactly call myself a TI enthusiast, but I did work with that stuff for a couple years. I learned 990 assembler so I could write faster cross assemblers for the 8-bit micros I was supposed to be programming. The oddest thing I did was write a driver for DX10 to talk to a 990/5 I plugged into the 990/12's TILINE so I could use the synchronous communications controller on the 990/5 for a system debug and manufacturing test setup. It worked well, but horrified the guy who came to work on our 990/12.

Hi All;
I worked for a company that first did memory upgrades for the TI 990..
The company then made its own Memory Board for the 990's, then the Memory Controller and finally a Disk controller Board.. We had multiple 990/10's and a 990/12 for Testing.. Those were the Days.. I still look fondly at much of those times..

THANK YOU Marty

I still have a lot of 990 hw,docs, and some software
Dave Pitts http://www.cozx.com/~dpitts/ti990.html
has been working on simulators, recently getting DNOS going

I have one 1500 and some carts (which are QIC format, the ones for 990s are not, and they had their own double-density floppy format)
The 1500 was sold to HP and became the HP 9000 Series 1500. I have one cart that actually says HP on it
