Hello everyone,

I've got a little present from a former Anita service man: An Anita MK8 calculator.
I really enjoyed repairing the machine, and I got a lot of tips and how to's from him.
I made also some tools for it like cable extenders and a raiser card.

Main problems: dead diodes, resistors ran away in value, bad capacitors, and some bad tubes,
the keyboard complete disassembled to clean and lubricate, some nixies repainted, fixed broken PCB...
So it took a few hours but I really wanted to see an MK8 running. And it does now!

(I'm sorry, when I say formally tubes I mean mostly tubes. I have to find a voice over in youtube)

Thank you. That was interesting to watch.

Thanks for your reply! I think this is the only possible way for me
to have something digital that computes/calculates with tubes...

A real computer with tubes would be the ultimate thing for me.
But I guess they are impossible to find and won't fit in the house too.
