I have an image (.IMG) file from a 1.44 disk that I want to write to a 1.2 disk. Size is not a problem -- the entire contents of the 1.44 disk will fit on a 1.2 disk. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? Alternatively I can re-image the 1.44 disk if that would facilitate the transfer to the 1.2 disk.

Winimage has an option to change the size of an image which then could be written out on a lower capacity diskette.

Winimage is what I would use.

Yep, WinImage is your best bet. :)

Worked a treat! Thanx, guys. I wanted a copy of Chuck's AMI Diags on a 1.2 disk as well as its native 1.44 disk. Some of us still have systems that boot from 5" floppies, you know. :-) I used Boot_B in my A drive and the 1.44 AMI disk in the B drive and could always change the floppy boot sequence in the CMOS setup but a direct boot from native drive A is what I wanted.
