Hi all,

I recently got 2 boards from a Sphere-1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_1) computer. The CPU board and a SIM (Serial interface) board. They seem complete. I would like some links to documentation about them. What is my chance to find other needed parts to rebuild this? It probably needs a memory board, monitor board (unless one of those have it), a keyboard. I might be ok without the monitor really as long as I can serially connect to it (like the way you connect to a SWTPC lets say).

Finding a Sphere-1 seems nigh impossible nowadays.

Regards,
Vlad.

Oooh! I have never seen a Sphere in person - only in advertisements.

Heh, you and me too :) I wish I had a Sphere-1 but I don't. I only have 2 boards (CPU+SIM1). I guess that is still better than nothing though. I will look at the schematics to see how to power it and I will also keep looking to acquire other parts.

Vlad.
