Hi, I found this old thing in my attic but I don't recognize it. Can anyone here perhaps help me with ID'ing this "computer"? It would be nice to know what it was used for, brand, age and possible value if any:)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

My guess would be an RS232 or 20/60 mA terminal device - but minus the CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) bit.

Image 2 quite clearly shows a 25-way D-type connector which is the commonly used serial-line interface for this type of equipment.

Are there any other connectors on the rear of the machine? If not - it may just be the keyboard part (which was sometimes separate to the glass CRT part).

As to value - as much as you can get (but don't expect much)! If it was me - I would donate it to a local computer museum (if they will even take it).

The thing that is strange is the 'intensity' control on the keyboard. This may be for the in-built video logic, for the brightness of the keyboard indictors, or for the external CRT part.
