Hi all! :p
I'm the (lucky?) owner of a 5363 that came in bad physical condition, but with darn good electronics. I couldn't see a single thing that was wrong in electronics and even if i have not tested it yet i'm confident it'll work like a charm (i'm gonna make a 3-D painting with it if it doesn't).
The problem is: the chassis needs sanding and the case needs to be repainted, plus it's missing the front panel bezel, so i don't know what button means what.
What should I do? Do you think it's worth my money or i'd better put in a good mobo and create a mockup, arduino controlled front panel?
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Jack

you can find the manual (https://archive.org/details/bitsavers_ibmsystem3stem36OperatingYourComputer536 3Sep87_18272931) on bitsavers. That should at least help you determine if the system is functional.

There is a picture of the front panel on Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_System/36

so you can figure out the buttons. No idea on value. especially in Italy as I suspect it has an Italian SSP...
