I've recently acquired an HP125 CP/M based computer. It's got a couple of problems. First, it's not recognizing the keyboard. The second is that the tempered glass CRT shield has mildewed around the edges.

The keyboard problem could be either a problem with the keyboard or with the machine's keyboard interface.

Does anyone have any of the service manuals available for the HP125 (Model 45500A)? The POST codes would be especially helpful if the entire document isn't available.

As to the glass problem, I'll try to determine if the shield is attached to the CRT (memory says no, but it's been nearly 20 years since I've serviced one of these machines). If it is, then I'm not sure what to do, if not, I'll start by taking it to an auto glass specialist and see if they can do anything with it.

I have to say that when I fired it up this evening it was like seeing an old friend I hadn't seen for a long time.

Thanks!
Tom
