So, I was going through a box of parts and found an old Sentinel parallel port dongle. I googled the numbers printed on it and found this thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?67292-Escapee-from-insane-asylum-needs-help-installing-Acad-V12_c4-on-modern-computer!!!), which leads me to believe that it's a dongle for AutoCAD V12.

If that's the case, what can I do with it? While I don't fancy running AutoCAD myself, I'm sure that somebody would like it, but ISTR Autodesk making it rather difficult to sell things like this...

Where I worked (and I was CAD admin) we did not have a dongle on the US release of AutoCAD 12 but I understand non-US releases had one, which is why it's referenced on that site.
Version 13 (US) did not have a dongle either.

That's strange, because the box that the dongle came in was miscellaneous surplus from a US government facility. Perhaps it's not V12, but that link was the only google hit for the numbers printed on it.
