I grew up programming on LCSI LogoWriter (I think it was 2.x). I can't find anything but a Spanish disk online.

Does anyone have this? I specifically want to teach my kid to program on a vintage x86 and this is probably the best way to learn until he can work out a little BASIC.

I'd be most grateful for an image of this.

Thanks!!

I swear that wasn't there last time I checked! I actually just came back to say that I found a multi-language one here which has an english binary in there. I'm going to go drop this onto a 386 and see how well it works.

Man am I ever so glad people preserve these things. I tried a newer logowriter and it really wasn't as easy to use as this.

Post some pics will you? Just ran it on my 286 to confirm it works.

I just ran on a 386 and 486 and everything is great.

BTW here is a pretty good manual if you just use the short command names.

I was able to create a page (namepage), save it (savepage) and edit some code on the flip side (ctrl-F) then run it!

Also, I'm glad the command to exit is "DOS" :) Ahh the good old days!

Here are some photos.
